I am an exploration geologist, lecturer, and researcher with 10+ years of experience in geological fieldwork, mineral exploration, hydrogeology, environmental studies, and engineering geology. I taught applied geosciences at Dilla University and served as a guest lecturer at Woldia, Bule Hora, Jigjiga, and Debre Berhan Universities.
I have led and contributed to multiple mineral exploration projects, including two joint initiatives with the SNNPR Mines & Energy Agency in the Sidama and Konso areas, Ethiopia. In these projects, I served as Project Coordinator and Principal Investigator, managing field operations, sampling programs, geologic logging, team supervision, and technical reporting.
My academic work includes two peer-reviewed publications, conference proceedings, and receipt of the 2022 AGU Student Travel Grant. My expertise encompasses geological mapping, mineral exploration, hydrogeological assessment, geotechnical and environmental investigations, as well as laboratory analyses, including petrography, fluid inclusion studies, and EPMA.
